Legacy Engineering performed the geotechnical exploration and engineering study as well as the construction materials testing for this project. The project consisted of extending Runway 13-31 approximately 500 feet into the marsh, milling and resurfacing the existing runway, and constructing new taxiways. Geotechnical exploration consisted of Standard Penetration Test borings and auger borings, while construction materials testing included pavement cores, earthwork preparation monitoring, and earthwork testing.
